During my time at Yellow Pencil, I had the opportunity to update the existing Keep Canada Working website. These updates included new, redesigned, and improved-upon components which fit within the established branding and ongoing social media campaign. I worked closely with the client to iterate each design and also played a role in the strategy and visual quality assurance of this fast-paced project.
The project followed a traditional agile flow that coincided with press releases. My job was to quickly respond to the updated priorities, and provide the development team with new designs with enough time for them to be properly implemented.
These screenshots show several components I worked on, including the search bar and search tool in the main header navigation, “Get updates in your inbox” sticky footer CTA, featured image text block, interior page hero image with an introductory text block overtop (including an optional illustration field), and a live revenue loss counter.
